Nestled along the banks of Mill Creek and its surrounding hills, Turner is "The Good Neighbor Town". Seven miles south of downtown Salem and a few miles east of the I-5 Corridor, Turner is entering its' second century with a vision to develop a self-sustaining community through an involved citizenry and City staff committed to keeping their needs the top priority. Named for founder Henry Turner, the City is home to Aldersgate Camps & Retreats, the Oregon Christian Convention Tabernacle, Turner Christian Church, and Turner Retirement Homes.

From Turner Elementary School to the Turner Rural Fire District, from Burkland Pool to the Lamb Festival, your good neighbor town is ready to serve you!
